DANIELLE CANERS

born in 1993, she is from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. She has schooled at the Emily Carr University of Art + Design, in Vancouver, Canada.

She was awarded the Fellowship for the artist-in-residence (mentor program) by the Vice~Versa Foundation.

She has had numerous group exhibitions in Canada from 2009 onwards and has many an award to her credit.

Danielle's works are in private collections in Canada, India, U.S.A. and South Africa..

    Danielle melds the forces of nature and the mysteries of the unconscious mind to bring forth intricate creatures and worlds. Her work is influenced by science, philosophy, travels, nature and life -and the great questions of our existence. She informs her art with the studies of mythology, symbolism, alchemy, history, nature, and herbalism.
